Episode 1 of P and P: The Real Story, a new audio/visual recording of Jane Austen’s beloved Pride and Prejudice performed in its entirety by yours truly with illustrations inspired by the Lizzie Bennet Diaries. The project hopes to introduce you to one or both works while deepening your appreciation and enjoyment of the latest modern adaptation and the original source text.
Each episode will contain one full chapter of Austen’s classic text along with illustrations (aka stick figure interpretations of the action).
There is still some bugs with the way the illustrations are showing up (or not fully showing up on youtube, but hopefully will have fixes for them in the very near future. Until the bugaboos are taken care of, I’ll post pages of the illustrations in comic book format in the next day or so.

I am an actress/director based in NYC. Somewhat of an anomaly in the field, I followed a nontraditional path to acting. I received her B.A. in Neuroscience and French from Wellesley College and also hold an M.A. from NYU Tisch in Performance Studies. I've studied at the Guthrie Theatre and worked as the directing intern for Joe Dowling, the Artistic Director, in Minneapolis, MN. In NYC, I train at HB Studio where I am also a proud member of the HB Ensemble. Having trained in both French & English, I've appeared and acted in both contemporary and classical pieces in New York, Massachusetts, and Minnesota. In addition to work on stage and film, I am a voiceover artist. My current voice-over project centers on a new recording of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen that has recently been launched on tumblr and YouTube – P and P: The Real Story.
